Electrical current that flows through a coil always causes a vibration of the entire Winding called motor/transformer humming or microphonic effect and generates heat which reduces the life of the windings. Voids in the windings also accelerates the degradation of insulation material and causes the motor/transformer to fail prematurely. VPI Plant produces a better insulation system for better environmental protection and moisture resistance. The removal of air voids from the windings assures longer electrical life. These plants are specially used to force an Impregnant into the deep voids of winding for better penetration and reduce the air gaps
